Jane-Louise Creations
I lead the design and development for the new Playstation website re-design.
Brief.
To design a simple yet effective print-on-demand store for local artist, Jane-Louise Clayton. The site needed to be easy-to-use for both the business and the customers. It also needed to integrate seemlessly with several POD companies, appear trustworthy as she is a new business, and it needed to showcase her work for bespoke projects.
Scope and Design.
I researched and provided all of the hosting options for her and we settled on Shopfiy as it has a well-known payment gateway, and is already set up to integrate with several POD companies. I shared designs for a classy, simple site that prioritised her artwork imagery and complimented her existing logo. The site was set up to be future-proof with preset promotional codes and the ability for social media stores and card payments for fairs and markets installed. The site took a few weeks to complete, with Jane organising her inventory, prices and images.
Result.
A new business launch! This site is a one-stop place for Jane-Louise to direct customers to, leading to sales and bespoke orders. With plenty of print-on-demand suppliers set-up in one site admin area, Jane can design and create freely, selecting different products or more cost-effective options from an array of established printing companies.
